Sugar Pea Chair

This project aimed to develop a brand new children's chair. Almost all of its components were designed separately with self-developing molds. The appearance of this chair was expected to be curved and the color will be bright and lively. The seat and the back of the chair can radiate the heat quickly. In the meanwhile, their shapes should support children's bodies comfortably well. The project has not been launched before I left the company. However, I got to get the final product photos to showcase.

Design Process and Prototypes for Validation

The design required a few detailed modifications. The color combinations of the chair are at the testing stage. The tooling would do adjustments based on the testing result and chair legs would also conduct the strength test. However, the handle and the adjusters were ready for the mold assessments.
